  True...to a point. Let's use this illustration; If you have four children and one of those four children is threatening the other three within an inch of their life, would you stand for it? Or would you put a stop to it? The way I understand it, God has always allowed "us" to have the reins just long enough to prove that we can't handle governing ourselves.

  The bottom line is; We need Him, we're proving that we can't do it without Him.

  P.S. I'm not a Right Wing Nut Job, I'm just a reasonable, common sense, thinking guy.....

  Corection Sab. God did not go back on any agreement, it was the Israelites that messed up the deal.

  Besides, the only guy that I know of that got away with literally arguing with God, was Moses at the Burning Bush. Man, what a conversation that must have been...

  Snake; No disrespect, but... it is what is. Take it or leave it. No one is forcing anyone to love Jehovah. (By the way, I know I may sound like a Witness but I'm not) Look, it's His gig. You either agree with it or you don't. The Pharoah of Moses' time didn't buy it either.

  As I said before, that's Jehovah's call..... I didn't get an invite to that conference call. It amazes me (not directed at you Seb) how many people lay awake sleepless at night wondering about this. Truth is, people have been dying since mankind came into existence. Do we somehow think we are special? Did we get a little gold badge at birth that says, "You Will Never Die"? I think not.

  Jehovah will do and act, when and how he see's fit. If you're his buddy, you're in. If you're his enemy, you're out. He is the Supreme One. You're either liked or disliked by Him.

  Simple as that! What is there to worry about? Perhaps the greater question is; What is there to figure out?

  recently i came across a thread where some of our more passionate posters were discussing the latest fox transgression.

  it was being alleged that fox was overtly lying about protests occurring in wisconsin while the infamous palm tree smoking-gun video clearly showed otherwise.

  Is it possible they unintentionally ran the wrong tape? That seems like the most logical answer. I'm sure they wouldn't intentionally run a misleading piece of tape.

  while the world has been focussed on japan, the rulers of bahrain have permitted around 1000 saudi troops to enter the kingdom to help quell opposition protests.. ruling families in the gulf states are mostly sunni muslims, the protestors are shi'ite muslims.

  iran, which is a shi'ite state, has voiced its opposition to saudi interference.. the potential for a sectarian conflict is very concerning..
